An exciting day for baijiu in Australia - this is the first release of our 3 year, clay pot aged, Tasmanian made baijiu. The oldest, and most awarded baijiu 100% made in Australia.
A discovery of the combination of the traditional solid-state fermentation and distillation methods of China with the pure grains, water and fermenting environment of Tasmania. Our - Aged 3 Years - release is a sweet and savoury cross-country experience with the familiar baijiu flavours you love.
Tasting Notes:
Aroma: soy sauce, miso, peanuts, chilli oil, mushrooms, soy beans and hints of citrus.
Palate: umami, sesame oil, toasted peanuts, rice crackers, hints of citrus and mountain flowers.
Finish: a long mouth feel with lingering savoury umami flavours.
